From closed-won to paid.
Drawbridge reads closed deals from your CRM, applies your comp plan, and stages the result in Rippling payroll as draft payouts for a human to approve. It does not pay anyone. It never has.
What it replaces
A spreadsheet. Someone exports closed-won deals, applies tiered rates, accelerators, clawbacks and split credit by hand, and retypes the totals into payroll. It is slow, it is unauditable, and every disputed number costs somebody an afternoon reconstructing how it was reached.
Drawbridge computes the same numbers and shows its working. Every amount traces to the deals and the plan clause that priced it, so the person approving signs off on a figure they can see the derivation of.
Three things it will not do
| Move money on its own | Drawbridge stages drafts. Releasing them into a pay run happens in Rippling, by a payroll admin who is deliberately not the person who approved the number. |
| Act with its own authority | Every role comes from your Rippling supergroups and is re-read on every request, so removing someone in Rippling removes them here immediately. There is no separate user list to forget about. The assistant holds no permissions of its own. |
| Change anything quietly | Every action — and every refusal — is written to an append-only log with who did it, when, and what the payload was. A change that cannot be recorded does not happen. |
Looking around
This deployment has no identity provider configured, so there is nothing to sign in to yet. Rather than show you a button that fails, here is what is actually true: pick a role from the switcher in the sidebar to see the product as that person would.
That switcher is a development convenience and trusts whoever asks. It is refused outright when the app runs in production without it being explicitly enabled, which is why a real deployment has to configure Rippling SSO before anyone can get in at all.
No Rippling credential is configured, so every figure you see is from a seeded demo tenant and is synthetic. Nothing here corresponds to a real person or a real payment.
How to use Drawbridge explains the journey a payout makes and what each role may do.
